A loose upper denture; frequent painful ulcers under the denture; poor aesthetics; a general loss of taste due to coverage of the palate with the denture; having to constantly use denture glue to hold the teeth in place- these were all problems for Tim which led him to seek an alternative to him having to wear his full upper denture.

After Tim lost his natural teeth in the upper jaw, as a result of extensive tooth decay, a full upper denture was initially fitted to replace his teeth. What followed were years of trying unsuccessfully to eat & speak with any confidence because the dental plate would constantly move around in his mouth. All this despite the plate's fit being "adjusted" numerous times & using several different adhesives to try to hold it firmly in place. The ill-fitting dental plate had a huge detrimental effect on his day to day living and was really getting him down.

Following a visit to Dr Michael Danesh-Meyer at the Institute of Dental Implants & Periodontics, Tim solved all these problems by making the decision to replace his loose upper denture with an All-on-4 dental implant bridge and has not looked back since.
